Trains Decorated with Lanterns for Lantern Festival   Hopes Soar with the Flying Sheep Train Touring Across Taiwan

The “Flying Sheep Hope Train,” co-organized by the Taiwan Railways Administration and Yunlong Tourism, was unveiled on the evening of the 25th by TRA Director-General Zhou Yonghui. The seven-carriage “Flying Sheep Hope Train” will tour around Taiwan from March 1st to 5th.

Both the locomotive and carriages of this train are decorated with cut-out window stickers, lights, decorative art pieces full of auspicious meaning, and six themed blessing poems. The train is scheduled to operate between March 1st and 5th as a cruise-style train, making stops in Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taipei, Yilan, and Hualien, where passengers can enjoy in-depth tours of these scenic spots. Additionally, during the “2015 Taiwan Lantern Festival” from March 6th to 15th, the Flying Sheep Hope Train will run daily between Taipei and Sinzuoying Station, serving as a dedicated lantern-viewing train. This allows the train to celebrate the Lantern Festival with more travelers and create unforgettable memories.
