Holiday Exclusive: Five Temple Bicycle Stations in Shuangxi to Open on the 21st

In recent years, cycling has become increasingly popular. To create a bike-friendly rest environment, the Shuangxi Township Office will launch holiday bicycle temple stations starting March 21. These five stations are located at “Weihui Temple” in Changyuan Village, “Baomin Hall” in Yuxing Village, “Shoushan Temple” in Taiping Village, “Qingyun Temple” in Mudan Village, and “Ci’an Temple” in Sangang Village. Operating from 9:00 to 16:00 on holidays, they serve as rest stops for cyclists, offering services such as Shuangxi tourism maps, bike racks, water dispensers, coffee, tea bags, seating, air pumps, basic tire repair tools, and restrooms.

Centered around Shuangxi District and connected via external routes including Provincial Highway 2B, Routes 102 and 102A, County Road 38, and the Shuangtai Industrial Road, the project designates three temples—two with over 50 years of history and one with a century-long legacy—as distinctive cycling rest stops. This allows riders to enjoy not only a break but also a taste of Shuangxi’s unique folk culture and the beauty of its temples. Cyclists are welcome to make use of these eco-friendly and community-oriented facilities.
