When you mention traveling to Thailand to your friends, "ladyboy shows" are definitely among the top recommendations！Ladyboys are practically a unique tourist attraction in Thailand, and many Europeans and Americans even fly in specifically to watch them！Bangkok and Pattaya in Thailand are where ladyboy shows are most popular, with as many as three ladyboy show theaters in Pattaya alone.

The three ladyboy show theaters in Pattaya are Tiffany, Alcazar, and Colosseum, among which theColosseum, known as the largest ladyboy show in Thailand,is distinguished by its ancient Roman colosseum exterior, visible from afar；the interior design is also opulent, featuring a lavish combination of white and gold, with Roman warrior statues standing here and there. Tourists often take commemorative photos, but photography is not allowed once the show officially begins. The performance hall itself resembles a national theater, so even if an opera suddenly started on stage, it wouldn’t seem out of place.

For the 7:30 PM show, when the audience settles in, nearly 90% of the 1,000 seats are filled, mostly with foreign visitors such as Chinese and Western tourists. Perhaps because it’s a weekday, there seem to be fewer locals.

The 75-minute ladyboy show is about to begin. With elaborate costumes and stunning faces, performers lip-sync to various music styles. Around 100 performers take part in the show, themed around different countries, featuring acts like American Broadway shows, superstar concerts, Indian Michael Jackson dance performances, Chinese Terracotta Army, and Italian vocal shows—catering to audiences from all over the world. When they hear songs from their home countries or see traditional costumes, audiences burst into applause.
