Beloved by many, Maru the Cat will accompany children and adults on the metro. The 2019 Summer Night Starry Sky train makes its maiden voyage on July 1st !

Through creative sticker designs, everyone is welcome to join Maru the Cat aboard this starry sky train full of love and joy, speeding along the Tamsui-Xinyi Line of the Taipei Metro, and exploring a new children’s playground in the summer night.

The 2019 “Summer Night Starry Sky” painted train on the Tamsui-Xinyi Line is covered inside and out with adorable images of Maru the Cat—its playful patterns are sure to catch everyone’s eye.

The exterior of the train is fully wrapped in painted stickers, showing Maru the Cat lying under the vast starry sky or playing with friends. Inside the carriage, not only the windows, doors, and partitions, but also details like the ceiling, equipment boxes, and walls are covered with lively and colorful stickers.

You can see Maru the Cat happily playing on four high-altitude rides at the Taipei Children’s Amusement Park—the Cosmic Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Galaxy Train, and Starry UFO—as well as a whimsical and fun riding space themed around the moon, meteors, solar system, and spaceships in the Starry Sky series.
