*2019 Government Autumn-Winter Subsidy Update—Good News!
Classic Grand Hotel accommodation packages are eligible for subsidies!
Weekdays (Sunday to Friday): Additional discount of NT$1,000 per room (subject to government announcements and hotel details). Due to a cap on this autumn-winter subsidy, applications will close once the central government subsidy quota is exhausted. Please cooperate accordingly when contacted by tourism officials (do not mention accommodation vouchers).
According to Tourism Bureau autumn-winter subsidy regulations, guests staying with an accommodation voucher are not eligible for subsidies. After discussions with the hotel, Nantou County Tourism Bureau agreed that those staying with a “Special Accommodation Package Voucher” may apply for the NT$1,000 per room subsidy. Please cooperate with tourism officials if audited (do not mention accommodation vouchers).
Method: Upon check-in, fill out the declaration form. Once the hotel receives the subsidy funds from the Tourism Bureau, the amount will be disbursed to everyone!
If you are not checking in immediately, the cash refund will be given on-site. The Tourism Bureau is currently only processing subsidy refunds up to September, which may take 2–3 months. The hotel will remit the funds to everyone once the Tourism Bureau’s refund is received, so please rest assured.
