◎ Tucheng St. Marie's Parent-Child VR Baking Experience

Located in the Tucheng Industrial Area, the "St. Marie’s Danish Bread Manor" tourist factory opened on the 18th. The entire venue is designed in a Nordic style, featuring not only parent-child DIY baking classes but also hidden games about the origins and making of Danish bread on every wall and corner. It has also introduced, for the first time, a 360-degree head-mounted VR experience, allowing visitors to feel as if they are inside a bread factory, getting up close to cakes and bread on the production line — making it a great spot for a light parent-child trip.

◎ New Hot Check-in Spot – Coal Railway Transformed into a Starlit Cycling Path

The revitalization project of the Taolin Railway, delayed for two and a half years due to the installation of a water supply trunk line, has finally broken ground for the section from Chenggong Road to Dakeng. The project aims to transform the idle and chaotic space into an aesthetically pleasing leisure greenbelt. Three major parks along the route will also be revitalized, and a starlit cycling path will be created for the first time. Mayor Cheng Wen-tsan hopes that after completion in May next year, it will achieve six major functions: transforming back alleys, promoting green transportation, connecting scenic spots, preserving railway culture, stitching the urban fabric, and offering transportation alternatives.
