The main bus service to and from Guguan is Taoyuan Bus (Fengyuan Bus), with both the exterior and interior looking brand new. The Guguan Bus Terminal is always bustling with seniors coming to soak in the hot springs or transfer to buses heading to Lishan, Wuling Farm, or Fushoushan Farm. Opposite, in Osmanthus Alley, there’s a cool boss who insists on stewing tea eggs for three days—each for just 10 NTD. They’re honestly the best I’ve ever tasted.
The most famous attraction is the Sosha Suspension Bridge and walking trail. The bridge connects both sides of the Dajia River, surrounded by streets lined with hot spring hotels, giving off a very Japanese vibe. Strolling here feels like being abroad, and the air is surprisingly fresh.
