A couple from New Mexico, USA, Arthur and Lindsey, recently took a tram up to the summit of Sandia Peak to take beautiful and romantic wedding photos. Unexpectedly, a sudden strong wind and the suspension of tram services left them and their photographer stranded on the mountain for as long as six hours.
The engaged couple, who have been together for two years and plan to get married this May, wanted stunning romantic photos for their wedding day. They went up Sandia Peak with their photographer, but what was meant to be a dream shoot turned into a nightmare. The group had planned to head down after taking sunset photos, but were informed that high winds had halted tram operations. They had to wait in the holding area, huddled under wool blankets provided to them, with no food or drinks available. After a difficult wait, they finally managed to make it down the mountain safely.
