Taiwan’s renowned xiaolongbao eatery “Din Tai Fung” is a popular food attraction that many international visitors seek out. Currently, there are ten Din Tai Fung outlets in Taiwan, and the company has just announced the opening of two new branches, one of which will be a large 400-ping standalone street-front store.

The Xinyi main store in Yongkang Business District sees long queues daily. Now, the all-new Xinyi No. 2 flagship store will open right across from the current location, aiming to provide customers with a more comfortable and safe dining environment. The Xinyi No. 2 store will be a four-story standalone building with 400 pings of space, featuring 320 seats, making it the largest Din Tai Fung branch in Taiwan.

Currently, all Din Tai Fung branches only accept cash, as they do not offer card payments due to limited space. The new flagship store, with its spacious layout, will also introduce the option to pay by card, making dining more convenient for customers.

In addition to the opening of Xinyi No. 2, Din Tai Fung will also launch a two-story in-store branch within Taipei’s Xinyi Planning District at Far Eastern Department Store A13, making it even more convenient for fans to dine at their favorite spot.
