This summer’s newest addition, “Little Haven Skyland,” is free to enter and has gone viral on social media in under two months. This arts and culture space, transformed from an old building, is adorned with colorful dreamcatchers and a massive ball pit overlooking the sea—filling the space with dreamy imagery. Visitors can also enjoy the relaxing vibes of the harbor at the ferry terminal.

Located near the Gushan Ferry Terminal in Qijin, Little Haven is an arts and cultural space created from the renovation of an old building.
“Casting the fishing net, laden with hope” combines the concept of “local revitalization” with the heritage of the Fishing Association’s old building. In Taiwanese, “fishing net” (鱼网) sounds like “hope” (希望), expressing the hope to weave a spectrum of colorful aspirations for Kaohsiung through vibrant and ever-changing textiles.

Little Heaven incorporates the wildly popular dreamcatcher element from the 2019 Lantern Festival. Inviting the Seacat Workshop art team, they spent four months meticulously crafting nearly 500 colorful fabric pieces in the existing space, creating a dream-filled haven of hope for both adults and children.

Another corner of Little Heaven offers a breathtaking sea view. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the first-row view of the harbor, while a sky-blue and cloud-white ball pit sparks the inner child, complemented by the sky and ocean outside to bathe the entire space in a soft blue ambiance.
