Hotels are competing for the summer family travel market by launching fun-filled stay packages. Taipei’s Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel has teamed up with the popular summer exhibition "Crazy Bubble Lab" to offer free entry to guests. This interactive science-themed exhibit brings knowledge to life through hands-on activities like bubble sculpting and blowing, immersing both kids and adults in a magical bubble wonderland. Other highlights include the Bubble Snow Globe, Bubble Theater, and Fluorescent Bubble zones. Book the “Summer Bubble Fantasy Journey” from now until September 28th for a starting rate of NT$6,299+10% per room per night. The package not only includes free exhibition tickets but also hotel breakfast and a 24-hour Taipei Metro pass.
Taipei Mandarin Oriental also offers exciting perks, with its “Pure Summer Family Getaway” package available from now until August 31st starting at NT$10,000 per room per night. Guests can stay in spacious and comfortable deluxe rooms that include breakfast, plus free entry to the OMNI Science Museum for children, where families can enjoy a range of fun and educational activities. Taipei Marriott Hotel, meanwhile, has gone wild with a jungle theme, launching a limited-time “Jungle Adventure” package that transforms rooms into a playful animal kingdom. Guests can hang out with jungle-themed lion, tiger, and bear plush toys, enjoy time in a thoughtfully set-up tent, and even play board games together.
Taipei Crown Plaza Tainan has also designed multiple family stay packages, such as the “1-Night, 2-Day Sword Lion Treasure Hunt Camp” and the “2-Nights, 3-Day Little Hotelier Summer Camp.” These let kids become little sword lion experts, concierge trainees, pastry chefs, sushi makers, and housekeeping assistants—experiencing how fun hotel jobs can be.
In addition, Taipei Crown Plaza Tainan has added indoor family play areas featuring morning exercise sessions with parents, PS4 gaming fun, board games and coloring activities, photo ops with character mascots during a delightful snack time, eco-themed film screenings, and DIY sword lion wall art painting. One of the biggest hits with kids is the PS4 gaming zone, where they can safely race cars in air-conditioned comfort. The sword lion painting activity is also a favorite, helping children learn about Tainan Anping’s guardian symbol while creating their own personalized sword lion artwork.
