Shi Chuanjie, Executive Deputy General Manager of Global Mall, emphasized that creating lasting, shared memories for families and offering enriching lifestyle experiences have always been key focuses in Global Mall’s planning.
Analyzing the reasons behind the significant growth in Global Mall’s family customer base, Shi Chuanjie said that one-stop convenience, interactive experiences, and friendly service are the three key factors. For example, to make shopping easier for families, Global Mall offers stroller rentals and family dining seating areas with lower tables and chairs to ensure children sit comfortably and safely. The Nangang Station branch even provides free home delivery services, making shopping more convenient and enjoyable.
In terms of one-stop convenience, Shi Chuanjie explained that Global Mall has introduced various retail sections including clothing, daily necessities, and toys, catering to the needs of different age groups. Certain stores also feature dedicated children’s rest areas. For instance, the Japanese affordable fashion brand “GLOBAL WORK,” located in the Global Mall Xinzhuang Zhonghe branch, includes a wooden block wall and video viewing area, allowing parents to enjoy a relaxed shopping experience.
Capitalizing on the trend of interactive experiences, the newly opened “Adventure Park” at Nangang Station features Taiwan’s first indoor 3D racetrack, forming a strip of family-oriented lifestyle and entertainment centers along with the “Funland” playground at the same station. Other attractions include the Snoopy Family Fun Park at Banqiao Station, the Happy Bear Family Fitness Centers at Xinzhuang Zhonghe, Xinzuoying Station, and Pingtung City, all equipped with a variety of recreational facilities to help families enjoy interactive moments and create joyful memories together.

Shi Chuanjie pointed out that, for the upcoming 228 Holiday, the Taoyuan A8 branch will host piggy bank painting and storytelling card-making workshops. The Linkou A9 branch will not only present a 1950s retro exhibition, complete with recreated old-style candy stores and toy shops, but will also feature DIY activities where visitors can build mini versions of the large robots on display. Meanwhile, the Xinzhuang Zhonghe, Banqiao Station, Xinzuoying Station, and Pingtung City branches will offer a range of activities such as sing-alongs, Beyblade competitions, and workshops on flower arrangements, scented bricks, and wooden notebooks.
