Dadaye Korean BBQ, which had operated in Dingshan Night Market for over a decade, has relocated to a new store after the night market closed. On my last visit to eat at Niuxiao Di, I happened to explore the area nearby and discovered that Dadaye had moved to Jinshan Road. Remembering how many fellow food lovers missed this place, I decided to revisit and share my dining experience with everyone.

The business model has shifted from a night market setup to a storefront. In addition to air conditioning, the new space is spacious, bright, and comfortable—but the aunties’ warm and friendly service remains unchanged.

A hot pot costs NT$150 and comes with a choice of five meats. We opted for pork, while the other hot pot ingredients are self-service—you just grab what you want from the fridge and pay based on the number of plates you use.

The fridge is stocked with a wide variety of hot pot ingredients, all neatly portioned and clearly priced.

This way of displaying the hot pot items looks much cleaner and more hygienic.

Aside from meat and seafood, which are NT$80 per plate when ordered separately, most hot pot ingredients are around NT$30—very affordable.

Drinks include winter melon tea and black tea, both offered for free. These two drinks aren’t very strong in flavor, and the sweetness is relatively mild.

If you find the dipping sauces lacking, there are spicy and non-spicy options available for free near the beverage machine.

At Dadaye, the BBQ meat is generally marinated—not just with sauce but also with onions for extra flavor.

Enoki mushrooms – NT$30/plate

Coral mushrooms – NT$30/plate

Fish cakes – NT$30/plate

One highlight of dining here is that vegetables are refilled for free. The auntie gave us a basket of greens, including water spinach, napa cabbage, and bean sprouts. The portion was huge—one basket was more than enough for us.

The broth is also refillable for free. It’s light and sweet—apparently made with onions and napa cabbage. Best of all, it doesn’t get greasy even after cooking for a while. Shadow ended up drinking several bowls.

The pork slices are well-marinated, and paired with the house dipping sauce, they taste great. Not sure if it’s because the meat was marinated too long, but the texture is on the softer side.

Dingshan Night Market may be a thing of the past, but several delicious food stalls haven’t disappeared—they’ve simply found new storefronts nearby. Many regular customers probably don’t know that Dadaye has moved here. We hope our review helps spread the word about the new location. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-timer, come check out this affordable and tasty Korean copper plate BBQ—we highly recommend it.
