Summer Night Visits to Taipei Children’s Amusement Park: Top 3 Must-Try Rides

Since July 1st, when Taipei Children’s Amusement Park first launched the “Summer Starlight” promotion offering free admission, the initiative has been well received by the public. As of the 15th, over 40,000 visitors have taken advantage of the free entry, withthe three most popular rides being the Fruit Ferris Wheel, Galaxy Coaster, and Ocean Adventure.

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation stated that during the summer vacation period (from July 1st to August 29th), visitors can enjoy free admission after 4 PM; also, the park will stay open until 8 PM daily and extend to 9 PM every Saturday throughout the summer.

To welcome the peak of summer, the park has added orange sunshades and covered tents to help guests escape the heat. Additionally, air-conditioned rides such as the “Fruit Ferris Wheel” and “Galaxy Coaster,” the beautifully canopied “Ocean Adventure,” as well as the ride areas under the 3rd-floor roof and the indoor play zone, offer great entertainment options.

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation also noted that Mondays during the summer vacation remain regular maintenance days, with the park closed on those days. Moreover, due to the extended operating hours during the summer affecting routine maintenance schedules, five rides — “Safari Flying Chairs,” “Jungle Roar Treehouse,” “Flying Magic Coaster,” “Magic Space Speedway,” and “Little Dragon” — will undergo preventive maintenance on one weekday each during the summer. Relevant closure notices will be posted on the park’s official website one week in advance.
