Hotels launch wedding banquet packages to capture market • Holographic projections and kids' exclusive tables catch the eye

Although it's currently Ghost Month, the hotel industry is already gearing up for the end of the year and even next year, rolling out various wedding packages. For example, Regent and Aloft Taipei Miramar have introduced premium wedding packages, while Taipei Fuhang and Okura Prestige Taipei have also launched wedding banquet experiences to tap into the wedding market business.

Latest wedding banquet trend: Kids' exclusive tables make their debut

With the growing demand in the premium wedding banquet market, Taipei Regent Hotel has announced the launch of its newest wedding banquet package “The Crystal Banquet.” In an exclusive collaboration with crystal design brand Swarovski, the package gifts newlyweds who sign contracts for their wedding banquets with exquisitely crafted Crystalline Lady crystal pens and Ambiray crystal photo frames. Couples can also customize their exclusive crystal-themed main table setups based on their preferences. The dazzling, elegant crystal elements include wine glasses, champagne flutes, candle holders, a sweet table box made from a Crystalline jewelry box, and a table menu crafted from a Starlet crystal photo frame.

Regent has also extended its bespoke, thoughtful services to the little flower girls and young guests attending the banquet. Based on the most suitable height for children, they have custom-designed kids' exclusive chairs at a height of 69 cm and round tables at 90 cm, with each chair costing as much as NT$4,000. The girls’ series table features a pink castle as its main décor, displaying Barbie dolls dressed in white bridal gowns, while the boys’ series table highlights a train adventure as its eye-catching focus, featuring a popular train block set favored by young boys.

Digital interactive wedding performances

Taipei Aloft Miramar, the first international brand hotel to open in Nangang in mid-December this year, offers a “Colorful Wedding” themed wedding banquet package that includes four major service features: “one-stop wedding service,” “FUN & Bold Free Pairing,” “Chinese and Western cuisine wedding banquet menus,” and “digital interactive wedding performances.” For the wedding performance segment, Aloft Miramar introduces the currently popular holographic projection show, with multiple templates for couples to choose from, allowing guests to experience exciting virtual and real digital interactions beyond just light shows and song-and-dance performances.

Taipei Fuhang Wedding Experience Day

Keeping up with trends, Taipei Fuhang will hold its first-ever “Wedding Experience Day” on 9/13. It brings together well-known wedding bands, wedding consultant companies, bridal shops, wedding cake businesses, bridal consultants, invitation designers, and photography services to offer one-stop services. Prospective brides and grooms can learn about their needs through the experience. Additionally, the event will include on-site lucky draws for a variety of prizes. The event features interactive segments such as real-wedding scenario experiences, anonymous couple activities, Barbie gift box photo zones, romantic wedding backdrop shooting areas, bridal wear displays, band performances, bridal consultant makeup trials, tarot readings, wedding cake tastings, European-style wedding invitations, and wedding accessories. There will also be several physical displays including bridal rooms, engagement ceremony venues, wedding banquet halls, and wedding banquet dishes, allowing couples to systematically understand the features of the wedding venue.

Taipei Okura Prestige Wedding Experience Day

Taipei Okura Prestige Hotel will host its first Wedding Experience Day on 9/6 in the third-floor banquet hall, inviting numerous wedding service vendors to participate. Prospective newlyweds can enter for free to experience the event. The on-site program includes sharing sessions by teams such as Sophie’s Bridal and Vanessa O Makeup Studio, as well as limited-edition lucky bags prepared by I-PRIMO, the largest wedding ring specialty brand in Japan. There will also be a live display by twelve cupcakes, the ultra-popular Singaporean cupcake brand... etc. During the event, Okura’s professional wedding planning team will guide couples to tour the wedding banquet venue and the bridal makeup and rest lounge. The highlight of the event will be the draw for valuable gifts. Okura Hotels and Resorts group — including Taipei Okura Prestige, Tokyo Okura, Tokyo Bay Okura, Sapporo Okura (Hokkaido), and Bangkok Okura — will each draw one winner for a three-day-two-night stay voucher.
