Checked into a hotel in the middle of the night, and all three TV channels were showing a "Sadako movie"

A few years ago, I went to Kaohsiung with a friend. We arrived around 1 a.m., so we just found a random hotel to stay at (it was a very old hotel right on the main road opposite the old train station—I forgot the name...). Since the hotel parking lot was full, my friend went to park the car first, and the hotel staff took me up to the room. The hallway was dimly lit, with flickering broken lights.

After the staff left, I turned on all the lights, including the bathroom ones, and noticed the bathroom had no exhaust fan—just a dark hole in the ceiling (probably just an exhaust duct). The toilet lid was cracked and held together with red plastic string tied in a cross shape. Since I was alone, I thought turning on the TV might help me feel less scared, so I turned it on. It was a movie channel, and they were showing the scene where Sadako crawls out of the TV. I was terrified and quickly pressed the remote to change the channel—but the next one was showing the exact same scene, with Sadako about to crawl out of the TV. I switched again, and this time she was already halfway out of the screen... I was so scared that I turned the TV off immediately. When my friend came up, we changed rooms right away.

Forgot to mention, when my friend came up, he didn’t believe me. He turned on the TV and checked all the movie channels, but none of them were playing a Sadako movie...
