The results of the online voting campaign for the “2015 Taiwan Top 10 Must-Visit Libraries” are out now!

This four-month-long campaign saw 68 libraries across Taiwan participating, each showcasing their own unique design and architectural styles, making them must-visit destinations.

Check out which libraries have made the list!

Among these ten representative libraries of Taiwan, there is 1 national library, 2 university libraries, 6 public libraries, and 1 specialized library.

The southern region tops the list with 5 entries, the northern region has 3, while the central and eastern regions each have 1.
▲ Aletheia University Gaya Library is located in Shalu District, Taichung City, and houses a collection of over 1.4 million items.
The event was organized by the Library Association of the Republic of China, aiming to attract more people to visit libraries, raise awareness about the importance of all types of libraries, and showcase the beauty of Taiwan’s libraries!
