赣州标准钟

　　标准钟楼位于市区阳明路与和平路交汇的路口街中心，始建于1952年，落成于1953年5月1日。这一带是当时的市中心，故在显要地段建筑了一幢西式钟楼。因四面有计时大钟而称标准钟。标准钟楼共六层，高20米，是当时赣州市城区最高的建筑物。在此后的20多年里，一直被视为赣州城的标志。

　　赣州标准钟建于1953年，一直是赣州老城区的标志性建筑。“随着世界最大的和谐钟塔在赣州建立，这座有着57年历史的老建筑似乎要退出历史舞台，标准钟没有任何动静，已经停摆不动了。
