洛阳博物馆是洛阳唯一的一座综合性历史博物馆。展馆以史前时期、夏商时期、两周时期、汉魏时期和隋唐时期五大部分组成，展示文物珍品近千件。其中在展品方面重点突出了五万年前的大象化石、新石器时代的彩陶器、夏商周时期的青铜礼器、汉魏时期的彩绘陶器及百戏俑、隋唐时期的彩绘乐舞俑和釉色鲜艳、形态各异的唐三彩等。
