寿山岩观音寺

　　寿山岩观音寺俗称“岭顶观音妈庙”，位于台湾桃园县龟山乡岭顶村，是台湾的三级古迹。相传清乾隆7年，有一位来自广东嘉县的顺寂法师从南海普陀山潮音寺恭请观音像，渡海来台，在沪尾港（今八里）登岸，至岭顶村榕树下时，观音托梦欲在此建庙，于是在此建庙安奉神像。乾隆58年，福建水师提督兼台湾总兵哈当阿南下平定盗乱，经过此庙时许下盗乱平定后就改建佛寺的心愿。乾隆60年戡平盗乱，于是召集士绅大户筹建寿山岩观音寺，至嘉庆2年完工，正式定名为“寿山岩”，哈当阿亲题“慈航广济”匾额悬于正殿。

　　现今所建的寿山岩观音寺外观主要修建于日治时期的1915年－1916年，因当时白蚁蛀蚀，寺宇倾颓，信众推举吕深波为总董事推动修建事宜，聘请著名土木大师陈应彬主持兼造，完工后雕梁画栋，佛殿更加壮丽。
