Yili Group Industrial Tourism is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd. is one of the leading enterprises in China’s dairy industry. It is among the national 520 key industrial enterprises and one of the first 151 national agricultural industrialization leading enterprises designated by eight state ministries. It was the sole designated dairy product producer for both the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and is also the only dairy enterprise in China’s history to have served at both the Olympics and the World Expo—two of the world’s top international events.

Yili Group is the only domestic enterprise among China’s major dairy companies. Over the past decade, it has paid more than 8 billion yuan in taxes and invested over 600 million yuan in public welfare causes. With its continuous and steady development, Yili’s brand value reached as high as 20.545 billion yuan in November 2009, ranking first in the industry for six consecutive years, making it the undisputed top brand among Chinese dairy companies. On November 18, 2007, General Secretary Hu Jintao visited Yili and spoke highly of the company, expressing earnest hopes and encouraging Yili Group to consistently contribute to agricultural prosperity and scientific development.

The headquarters of Yili Group is located in Tumote Left Banner, Hohhot, situated on the fertile Tumochuan Plain at the southern foot of the Daqing Mountain. The location is prime, lying in the “Golden Triangle” core area between Hohhot, the capital city of the autonomous region, Baotou, the Steel City on the Grassland, and the Ordos Zhungeer Major Coalfield, a key national construction project.

As a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national industrial tourism demonstration site, Yili Group’s headquarters leverages the Yili•Dairy Capital Technology Demonstration Park. Utilizing resources such as modern dairy production workshops, advanced production techniques, pristine natural pastures, and a profound corporate culture, it vigorously develops industrial tourism projects. While creating a diverse range of industrial tourism products, it has also designed several premium tour routes, allowing visiting groups to explore various attractions based on their different interests. Additionally, Yili Group has developed tourism products with distinctive features such as factory tours, business exchanges, student internships, health experiences, and leisure sightseeing, along with a variety of convenient facilities and related services for visitors.

The core scenic area of Yili Group’s headquarters—the Yili•Dairy Capital Technology Demonstration Park—includes four main tourist attractions: the Yili Jinchuan New Industrial Park Liquid Milk Production Line, the Yili Global Model Infant Formula Factory, the Yili Group•Chilechuan Premium Milk Source Base, and the Chilechuan Modern Animal Husbandry Technology Demonstration Park. These sites showcase every production step of Yili’s trusted milk, from silage feed cultivation and raw milk quality control to fully automated production lines. Visitors can witness the entire production process of Yili’s “trusted milk,” fully appreciate the patriotic spirit of the domestic dairy industry, and genuinely experience the profound heritage of grassland dairy culture.

With the continuous development of Yili’s industrial tourism, the group has successively launched industrial tourism programs at 25 factories across various regions including Beijing, Hefei, Wuhan, Huanggang, Suzhou, Jinan, Shihezi in Xinjiang, Duerbote in Heilongjiang, Shenyang, Foshan in Guangdong, and Qionglai in Sichuan.
