Huhenuoer Grassland Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Huhenuoer Grassland Scenic Area is located within Chen Barga Banner, Hulunbuir City, in the heart of the Hulunbuir Grassland. It borders Huhenuoer Lake to the east, connects to the Hailar River to the south, and links to the Morigele River to the north. It is 46 kilometers from Hailar, 26 kilometers from Bayan Kuren Town of Chen Banner, and 160 kilometers from Manzhouli, adjacent to National Highway 301.

Huhenuoer Grassland Scenic Area is the best place to view the scenery of the Hulunbuir Grassland and also the most representative grassland folk tourism destination in the region. As a national 4A-level scenic spot, “Huhenuoer” means “Blue Lake” in Mongolian. The grassland features numerous rivers and lakes of various sizes, among which Huhenuoer Lake boasts the most stunning scenery. Surrounded by lush green grass and crystal-clear waters, the lake shines like a bright pearl. In summer, the grassland is rich with water and vegetation, dotted with cattle and sheep; in winter, it is covered in ice, presenting the classic northern landscape. On Huhenuoer Grassland, you can stay in a yurt, wear traditional Mongolian attire, ride horses, and truly experience the unique culture of the Mongolian nomadic people.

Huhenuoer Grassland Scenic Area centers around a multifunctional yurt-style visitor center, forming a cluster of yurts that accommodate dining, accommodation, and sightseeing for tourists. Major tourist activities include: natural ecological sightseeing of the grassland, nomadic tourism, farmstead visits, horse and camel riding, horse lassoing, horse taming, horse racing, wrestling, archery performances, Oboo worship ceremonies, ethnic song and dance shows, bonfire parties, fishing, boating on the lake, speedboat rides, jet skiing, and wetland bird watching.
