Yili Group Hulunbuir Industrial Tourism Area
The Yili Hulunbuir Modern Dairy Technology Demonstration Farm was constructed in December 2008 and went into operation in June 2010. All the dairy cows raised in the farm are bred through artificial insemination using frozen semen from elite bulls selected based on progeny testing verified by authoritative institutions both domestically and internationally. The cows on the farm are all raised in a free-stall system, with designated feeding, resting, and milking areas within the farm. Heifer calves are raised using a “grassland grazing” model to bring management closer to a “natural state.” The farm integrates dairy cow breeding, grassland improvement, agricultural technology training, and sightseeing tourism, serving as a showcase for Yili Group’s “Natural Grassland Ranch” brand.

As one of Yili Group’s industrial tourism sites, the farm combines local natural, social, and economic characteristics. While producing green and organic raw milk using Yili’s world-leading proprietary technologies, it also guides local farmers and herders to gradually shift from traditional dairy farming concepts toward intensive, large-scale, and specialized breeding practices. This has played a positive exemplary role in promoting the development of Hulunbuir’s dairy industry and the construction of Yili’s “Golden Milk Source Base.” To better promote industrial tourism, the site has a professional reception team and a visitor reservation hotline, facilitating direct communication between visitors and our staff.
At present, the Yili Group Hulunbuir Industrial Tourism Area is steadily developing and expanding. Significant human and material resources have been invested in the modular hardware and software construction of the site to highlight key visiting features and enhance the overall quality of industrial tourism products. Through selection and training, the site is equipped with professional guides who provide visitors with expert, convenient, and high-quality reception and interpretation services.
To meet visitors’ needs for an in-depth understanding of the company’s management philosophy and practices, further enrich the content of industrial tourism, build a platform for corporate external promotion, and spread the Yili brand image, at the end of 2008, the group headquarters successfully launched Yili Group’s free industrial tourism exchange courses based on the original foundation. These include “Yili’s Approach to Talent Development,” “The Integration of Principle and Practice: Yili’s Precision Management,” “Yili Quality Management,” “Providing Consumers with 100% Safe and 100% Healthy Premium Products,” and “Yili’s Healthy Culture.” For discussion groups with different backgrounds, we arrange corresponding lecturers for exchanges. The only requirement for visiting groups is to make a reservation by phone at least one week in advance, so that the reception team can promptly understand the visiting group’s information and provide more practical and comprehensive information services.
Currently, Yili offers a “multi-stop” service for visitors. Here is an introduction to the site:
