Wetland Huangcao Lake

Wetland Huangcao Lake is located about thirty kilometers east of Red Stone City. A poetic expanse of grassland spanning dozens of square kilometers unfolds before you. Herds of cattle and sheep graze leisurely, horses roam freely, and lush green grass covers the land. This is one of the larger lake basin wetlands on the edge of the Badain Jaran Desert (the largest lake basins in the Badain Jaran Desert are Guanzi Lake and Gurnai Lake, both within the jurisdiction of Ejin Banner), providing a nurturing habitat for a variety of flora and fauna. Huangcao Lake is situated within the territory of Alxa Right Banner, and the vibrant green transparency of this wetland offers a striking visual contrast to the Badain Jaran Desert.
