Uris Grassland is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Uris Grassland is a tourist attraction integrating folk culture and eco-tourism, developed and constructed by Alxa Left Banner Uris Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. Located in the western suburbs of Bayanhot, the central city of Alxa, it passed the 3A-level scenic spot evaluation and acceptance in 2006. The scenic area has received cumulative investments exceeding 30 million yuan and provides a range of services including catering, accommodation, desert adventure, eco-scientific research, conference reception, and cultural performances. In 2006, it received 150,000 visitors. Plans are underway to attract investment for the construction of a comprehensive entertainment venue that includes a go-kart track, tennis courts, and a swimming pool.

The Inner Mongolia Alxa Uris Grassland Cultural Tourism Area is located in the western suburbs of Bayanhot, the central city of Alxa, and has long served as the main venue for major festivals in Alxa. After years of development and construction by Uris Cultural Tourism Development Company, it has become a distinctive tourist attraction integrating dining and accommodation, eco-tourism, desert adventure, leisure vacation, sports competitions, and conference hosting. It is now one of the key tourism development projects in Alxa Left Banner.

The Alxa Uris Grassland Cultural Tourism Area boasts two types of natural resources—grassland and desert—but its most representative assets are its cultural and human resources. These mainly include: the largest Mongolian yurt village in China, the highest-standard motorcycle racing circuit in the country, a national ecological desert management project, the main venue for the Naadam Festival, a beach entertainment area, the Uris Obo, and factories processing horse milk and camel milk. The area is close to the urban center, enjoys convenient transportation, well-developed service facilities, and a rich variety of tourism activities.

Currently, the Alxa Uris Grassland Cultural Tourism Area offers a range of tourism activities, including Alxa-style cuisine, traditional Mongolian yurt accommodations, equestrian performances, horse and camel racing, bonfire parties, Obo worship ceremonies, desert adventures, beach entertainment, desert ecology study and conservation, large-scale Mongolian cultural performances, and powered parachute aerial tours.
