Introduction The Helan Mountain National Hunting Ground is situated in Beixiazi Valley of the Helan Mountains at the 43-kilometer mark of the Wuba Highway in Alxa Left Banner, 30 kilometers from Bayanhot, within a grazing-prohibited area outside the Helan Mountain Nature Reserve. Approved by the state and funded by a tourism development company in Inner Mongolia, it was built in August 2003, covering an area of 5,800 hectares. It serves as a natural hunting ground where the prey consists of artificially bred wild animals of the second generation or below. The hunting ground is divided into a camping and living area, a breeding and hunting area, and a scenic viewing area. The camping and living area is nestled in a picturesque mountain-surrounded valley at the northern foot of the Helan Mountains, near the entrance of the Wuba Highway, 30 kilometers from Bayanhot. Within a 15-minute walk from the living area, in the Xiangchi Scenic Area, a newly built farmhouse is designed and furnished entirely according to the customs and etiquette of the Alxa Mongolian people, allowing visitors to more deeply experience the simplicity and hospitality of the hardworking and brave Mongolian ethnic group while resting and sightseeing.
