Nanyue Garden is located on Dachuan Hill in Zini Village, Shawan Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou. It borders the Zini River to the east, BaoMo Garden to the south, local residential areas to the west, and farmland to the north. Covering an area of over 100 acres, it is a large-scale landscape garden that harmoniously blends mountain-water scenery with Lingnan architecture, and showcases both artistic masterpieces and Lingnan-style gardens. Nanyue Garden is the “sister garden” of the renowned Lingnan garden, BaoMo Garden. It represents a deeper development and extension of BaoMo Garden, highlighting the historical and cultural charm of Shawan, a famous historical town, as well as the elegance of Yu Mountain. However, unlike BaoMo Garden—which fully exhibits the charm of a Lingnan water town—Nanyue Garden focuses more on showcasing the essence of Lingnan architectural art. The creation of Nanyue Garden serves as a new landmark for Panyu tourism and a beautiful highlight for the cultural ancient town of Shawan.

Nanyue Garden boasts beautiful landscapes, with exquisite rocks, picturesque waters, carved beams, painted rafters, and pavilions housing treasures. Leveraging the characteristics of the local mountain and water features, the garden integrates landscape design, Lingnan architecture, and rare stones and artworks. The winding and magnificent “Hundred-Turning Corridor” runs throughout the entire garden. Within the garden, there are splendid structures such as the grand “Weixiong JuXiu” Archway, the Nine-Dragon Wall, the Guest Welcoming Pavilion, the Serenity Pavilion, the Four-Knowledge Pavilion, the Joyful Retirement Pavilion, and the Gathering Spring Pavilion. There are also five exhibition halls that house precious collections: the Zhao Tailai Collection Hall, the Huo Zongjie Collection Hall, the Glorious Clouds and Sparkling Treasures Hall, the Jade Artifacts Hall, and the Ceramics Hall. In addition, there are 20 scenic spots including Azure Water and Refined Splendor, Hundred-Turning Corridor, Cloudy Rock Layers and Lush Greenery, Clear Streams Washing Over Rocks, Osmanthus Garden Fragrance, Cloudy Rock Layers and Lush Greenery, Waterfall and Pine Sounds, and Milky Flower Rock Mountain-Water Scenery. Zini Village: The People's Committee of Zini Village, Shawan Town, Panyu District, Guangzhou, is located southwest of Shawan Town. The Shiliang Highway (connecting Panyu’s Shawan to Shunde’s Daliang) and the under-construction Dongxin Expressway run through the village. It covers an area of 2.66 square kilometers, comprises 15 villager groups, and has a total population of 2,600. It is 5 kilometers from Shawan Town Government and 13 kilometers from Shiqiao.

Zini Village is situated in a region that is half sandy farmland and half paddy field. It currently has 1,780 acres of agricultural land, mainly used for growing flowers and raising fish in ponds.
