Xinghai Youth Palace is a patriotic education base.

The Xinghai Youth Palace in Panyu District, Guangzhou, is a large-scale, non-profit social education institution for children and adolescents, integrating arts, science and technology, sports, and culture. It was invested in and constructed by the Panyu District Committee and District Government, and is overseen by the District Education Bureau. It is currently a council member of the China Youth Palace Association and an executive council member of the National Urban Youth Palaces Work Research Association.

Xinghai Youth Palace has always adhered to the mission of "serving society and serving minors," and follows an educational model of "expert guidance and instruction by distinguished teachers." It has established seven groups: the Martial Arts Troupe, Dance Troupe, Choir, Children's Drama Troupe, Literature Society, Xinghai Model Aircraft Team, and Guzheng Performance Team. It also operates a branch teaching site in Dashi and consistently conducts teaching outreach programs in nine rural schools’ youth palaces across Panyu District. The palace has hosted numerous major provincial, municipal, and district-level events in the arts, science and technology, and sports. Each semester, it provides a platform for students to showcase their talents and organizes a variety of distinctive activities that are highly popular with children. Since its establishment in 2006, it has achieved remarkable results in training and competitions, earned significant social benefits, built an excellent reputation, and gained high recognition nationwide among peers in the field.

Shiqiao Subdistrict: Located in the heart of the beautiful and fertile Pearl River Delta, Shiqiao Subdistrict lies in the central area of Panyu District. It borders Shiji Town to the east, Qiaonan Subdistrict to the south, Donghuan Subdistrict to the northeast, and Shatou Subdistrict to the northwest. It covers an area of 11.35 square kilometers, with a permanent population of over 140,000 and a combined floating and temporary resident population of about 120,000. The subdistrict administers eight village committees and 28 community neighborhood committees.
