The Panxi Zhuang Family Tomb

The Panxi Zhuang Family Tomb is a cultural relic protection unit of Panyu District.

The Panxi Zhuang Family Tomb is located on the northeastern slope of Shanmen Hill in Xishan Village, Hualong Town, and dates back to the Ming Dynasty.

The family tomb complex consists of 12 tombs, covering an area of approximately 678 square meters. Based on their structure, they can be divided into two types: one retains the original Ming Dynasty appearance as square tombs made of lime-sand; the other consists of armchair-shaped tombs rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty using granite, which have remained well-preserved for over 500 years. They hold significant historical value for the study of the local history of Panyu.

On November 8, 2010, the Office of the People's Government of Panyu District announced the Panxi Zhuang Family Tomb as part of the first batch of Panyu District Cultural Relic Protection Units.

Xishan Village: The Xishan Village Committee is located in the southwestern part of Hualong Town, Panyu District. The village has one economic cooperative, with a total area of 2.1 square kilometers, 462 households, and a population of 1,310. The Xishan Village Committee is 20 kilometers from the urban area and 8 kilometers from Hualong Town. Leveraging local characteristics, the committee has developed village-level collective economy, with main sources of income coming from the leasing of land and fish ponds.
