The Ming Dynasty ancestral hall is a cultural tourism attraction.

In Zhengda Village, Luoxi Town, Luhe County, there stands an ancestral hall originally built during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty. This hall boasts elegant architecture and a well-organized layout, and to this day, the structure remains completely preserved. The owner of the hall was Ye Gaobiao, who served in a high-ranking official position during the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty, overseeing the nation’s grain supply. He was known for his integrity in office, diligence in governance, and love for the people, earning recognition from the Ming imperial court, which bestowed a plaque in his honor. The ancestral hall incorporates architectural features of residential buildings, temples, and palaces common in eastern Guangdong, giving it distinctive character. Inside the hall is a square courtyard with no drainage outlet or culvert. Whenever heavy rain falls, while floods rage outside, water collects in the courtyard but never overflows. Currently, the ancestral hall is open to visitors and has become a cultural tourism site in Luhe.
