Former Residence of Comrade Xie Fei

The Former Residence of Comrade Xie Fei is a cultural tourism attraction.

-- Comrade Xie Fei’s contributions to Luhe and Guangdong’s reform will never be forgotten by the people of Luhe. The former residence is located in Duimen Administrative Village, Hekou Town, Luhe County. Once you arrive in Duimen, just ask the locals and they’ll point you to the right place. Overall, there is a small pond in front of the house, which is a tiled-roof building characteristic of Luhe (there are roughly three bedrooms and two living rooms). Upon entering, there is a small courtyard. The main hall and the master bedroom are both locked, but through the window you can see a portrait of Comrade Xie Fei on the master bed. The side room consists of a small sitting area and a study. In the sitting area, there is a photo of Comrade Xie Fei and another comrade during their southern tour; in the study, several rows of large bookshelves along the walls hold many books and writings by Comrade Xie Fei.
