Nanwan Hongzhuilin Ecological Park is located

in Luhe County

in the northern Nanwan Town, and is the largest Hongzhuilin base in China, classified as a provincial-level nature reserve. The scenic area is embraced by mountains and water, offering idyllic landscapes. To the west rises the majestic and sprawling Lotus Mountain, while the east and west are flanked by the crystal-clear Nantian Lake. Citian Mountain, shaped like a lying elephant, stands 588 meters tall, with three sides of giant exposed cliffs. A ten-mile-long stream fragrant with wildflowers winds through rugged rocks, its clear waters revealing the stones beneath, while mountain waterfalls cascade down like silver threads from the heavens. The mountains are covered with ancient towering trees, elegant Hongzhuilin, swaying Alsophila spinulosa, and wild chrysanthemums, pomegranates, camellias, and delicate orchids all vying in beauty. The entire park is like a grand green botanical garden, characterized by forest eco-tourism and themed around leisurely appreciation of mountains and water—making it an ideal retreat for those seeking to reconnect with nature.
