Shixiangshan Park

Shixiangshan Park is located in Nanwan Town, Luhe County. The mountain consists of a massive rock formation, and it earned its name because its shape resembles an elephant drinking water from a lake. The park features two hiking trails, one of which is a 200-meter-long wooden staircase that leads to the “One-Line Sky” scenic spot. The mountainside is lush with greenery, dotted with rare flowers and plants that compete in beauty. Hiking up the trail halfway brings you to a viewing pavilion, where you can gaze at the sparkling waters of Nantian Lake below—a truly refreshing sight. At the highest point of the mountain stands an 18-meter-high statue of Guanyin sitting on a lotus throne. Ascending to the base of the statue, visitors can take in the panoramic view of surrounding peaks embracing the landscape, with all its breathtaking beauty spread out before them.
