Former Site of Yuekeng Ancestral Hall Farmers' Association

The former site of Yuekeng Ancestral Hall Farmers' Association is located in Yuekeng Natural Village, Wancun Committee, Nanwan Town, Luhe County, Shanwei City, Guangdong Province, adjacent to areas such as Nanling and Zhuangtian in Zijin County. Originally built during the Qing Dynasty's Kangxi era (1756), the entrance gate faces east while the main hall faces south. It features a two-courtyard layout, with a total width of 22.5 meters and a total depth of 23.2 meters, covering an area of 522 square meters. After renovation in 2005, it was fitted with granite foundations and constructed with red bricks and glazed tiles. During the Great Revolution period, Yuekeng Ancestral Hall served as the meeting place for the Yuekeng Farmers' Association. Original party leaders such as Gu Dacun and other comrades led and carried out guerrilla resistance against the enemy from this site.
