The Chahar Right Middle Banner Huanghua Tourist Area is situated in the northern part of the Ulanqab League, on the Huitengxile Grassland, a branch range of the Yin Mountains. It lies 100 kilometers from Hohhot, 70 kilometers from Jining City, and 15 kilometers from the banner government seat, Korla Town. Owing to its exceptionally beautiful scenery and convenient transport, it draws a large number of domestic and international tourists. Covering an area of over 50 square kilometers, the Huitengxile Grassland boasts fertile land and abundant rainfall. From May to September each year, the grassland flourishes with lush vegetation and blooming wildflowers, while herds of cattle and sheep graze amidst the melodious sounds of herdsmen's songs, fragrant breezes, and a picturesque springtime scene on the grasslands.

Huanghua Shencong Gully, acclaimed by visitors as the "Jiangnan of the Frontier," offers even more poetic charm. It combines the beauty of mountains and waters, featuring steep cliffs, uniquely shaped peaks, secluded winding paths, birdsong, floral fragrance, and murmuring streams. Attractions such as the "Twin Camel Peaks," "Reclining Dragon Peak," "Sword Gate Mountain," "Buddha’s Palm Mountain," "Sacred Turtle Ridge," "Hanging Waterfall Cliff," "Fairy Cave," "Three-Tiered Spring," "Mirror Sky," "Wooden Fish Platform," and "Sacred Onion Rock" are hailed as spectacular wonders of the frontier. The over 5,000-acre Duguilin Forest District is densely forested with towering ancient cypresses, and within its resilient green lawns are scattered white mushrooms, daylilies, and lilies, adding more natural beauty. The extraordinary forests and exotic flowers form a vast natural garden.

The Huanghua Shencong Gully Reception Center features several Mongolian yurts, including one large hall and multiple medium and small yurts, where visitors can dine, rest, and enjoy entertainment. The center also offers recreational activities such as horseback riding and archery, as well as song and dance performances and bonfire parties. It has been open to the public since 1992.

The Huanghua Gully Scenic Area features over 20 types of natural, man-made, and historical landscapes. It showcases typical geological remnants of Quaternary glacial activity from the Neogene system, with complex and diverse geological structures, as well as unique, steep, and dramatic landforms, making it a geological museum of the Daqing Mountain Range. The area has a distinctive climate, with an average temperature of only 7 degrees Celsius, and presents rare weather phenomena such as "June snow and midsummer heat," making it an exceptional summer retreat on the frontier.

Within the Huitengxile Grassland scenic area, there are eight tourist resorts: the Huanghua Tourist Reception Center, Qingsong Tourist Resort, Grassland Pearl Electric Power Resort, Capital Educated Youth Huanghua Tourist Resort, Tianjiao War Chariot Reception Center, Ulanqab Foreign Affairs Tourism Reception Center, Wind Farm Tourism Reception Center, and the 99 Springs Resort. Each resort is located near a grassland lake.
