Huitengliang, also known as Huiteng Guole, is located in the southwestern part of Zhahar Right Middle Banner. It is a highland summer resort in the eastern section of the Yin Mountains. "Huiteng" means "cold" in Mongolian, so Huitengliang translates to "cold mountain ridge," where the highest temperature even in midsummer does not exceed 15°C.

The area boasts undulating mountain ranges, numerous lakes, and gushing springs, along with a cool climate. Small lakes formed by mountain springs include Little Tianchi and Cat’s Eye Lake. Due to the abundance of springs, it was historically referred to as the "Ninety-Nine Springs." During the Liao and Jin dynasties, it served as a leisure destination for emperors. Emperor Xingzong of Liao, Yelü Zongzhen, once received the Song envoy Yu Jing here in the 13th year of the Chongxi era (1044 AD) and assembled troops here in preparation for an attack on the Western Xia Dynasty.

In recent years, a tourist site has been established here, featuring dozens of Mongolian yurts arranged in a fan shape, with a large ironwood-structured yurt at the center for accommodation and banquets. Visitors can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Inner Mongolia Plateau and experience local ethnic culture here.
