Þórsmörk Valley
The name Þórsmörk Valley comes from Thor, the Norse god of thunder, war, and agriculture. It is located between the Tindfjallajökull glacier and the Eyjafjallajökull ice cap in southern Iceland.
The Krossá River meanders through Þórsmörk Valley, which extends all the way to Mýrdalsjökull glacier.
