Monaco Palace Square
Attraction Introduction The square is surrounded by cannons cast during the reign of Louis XIV. From the northeast side of the square, you can see the Old Port and the Monte Carlo district up close, and further out, the Cap Martin in Italy. Looking west, you can take in the views of Fontvieille and the Cap d’Ail.
Features
The guards wear magnificent uniforms — black in winter and white in summer. For over 100 years, this ceremony has been carried out unchanged every day.
