Monaco City
Monaco City is the capital of the Principality of Monaco. Since the Principality of Monaco is one of the smallest countries in the world in terms of land area, with its territory consisting of only one municipality — Monaco City — there is no geographical distinction between Monaco City and Monaco. Monaco City is bordered by France to the north, west, and east, and is one of the most densely populated cities in the world.
Monaco City has a developed economy, primarily driven by sectors such as tourism and banking, and is a famous tourist destination in Europe. Every year, many people are attracted by Monaco’s casinos and pleasant climate. In addition, numerous cultural and sports events are held annually to draw visitors, including the Monte Carlo International Circus Festival, the International Fireworks Festival, and the Formula One Grand Prix, all of which are world-renowned. The city boasts well-developed entertainment and accommodation facilities, attracting the hosting of various international conferences, with approximately over 200,000 visitors each year. Tourists can visit attractions such as the Prince’s Palace Car Museum, the Japanese Garden of Monaco, the National Museum of Monaco, the Monaco Tropical Garden, Monaco Cathedral, and the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.
