Schladming Ski Resort is one of Austria’s five major renowned ski areas, located in the south of Salzburg. It features nine mountains with elevations ranging from 1,300 meters to 2,700 meters, as well as countless smaller peaks around 1,000 meters high. The main peak, the 2,700-meter Dachstein-Gletscher, has a year-round ski area where you can experience genuine beginner and intermediate alpine slopes, and even enjoy the thrill of skiing in a bikini on a hot summer day.

With a maximum elevation of 2,700 m and a minimum of 745 m, Schladming Ski Resort offers 30% beginner slopes, 60% intermediate slopes, and 10% advanced slopes. It has 81 lifts, a total slope length of 173 km, and the longest run stretches up to 7 km. Ticket prices per person per day are: Adults — €36.5 in the low season, €39 in the peak season; Youth (under 20) — €31 in the low season, €33 in the peak season; Children (under 15) — €19 in the low season, €20 in the peak season.

Salzburg is 100 km from the resort and takes about 2 hours by bus; it takes 2 hours and 20 minutes from Munich. The closest airport is Salzburg Airport, which offers a direct shuttle bus to the ski resort.
