Midland Air Museum

The Midland Air Museum is a well-known aviation museum located near Baginton in Warwickshire, England, adjacent to Coventry Airport. The museum houses the Frank Whittle Jet Heritage Centre, with many of its exhibits displayed in a massive aircraft hangar; there is also a smaller hangar, and numerous aircraft are exhibited on fenced grassy areas, allowing visitors to get an up-close view of these giants.

The largest aircraft in the collection at the Midland Air Museum are the Avro Vulcan B.2 and the Armstrong Whitworth Argosy AW.650. The restored Avro Vulcan, featuring delta wings, was once part of the Royal Air Force’s arsenal and was capable of being equipped with nuclear missiles during the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union, making it a formidable asset for Britain as a member of NATO. Additionally, the museum features many other historically significant aircraft, greatly appealing to aviation enthusiasts.
