Alnwick Castle is located in Northumberland in northeastern England and was first built in 1096 after the Norman Conquest. It sits quietly on a picturesque highland, surrounded by mountains and water, with streams, pastures, lakes, and woods closely encircling and adorning it, making it one of the most beautiful sights in the green countryside.
