Chillingham Castle is a medieval castle located in the village of Chillingham in northern Northumberland, England. From the 13th century until the 1980s, it served as the residence of the Grey family and their descendants, the Earls of Tankerville. Nowadays, Chillingham Castle has been designated as a Grade I listed historic building in the UK, attracting large numbers of visitors year-round.

There are numerous ghosts here, the most famous of which is the “Blue Boy” who often appears in the Pink Room. It is said that at the stroke of midnight, anguished wails echo through the Pink Room, where a little boy dressed in blue appears on an old four-poster bed, surrounded by eerie flickering lights. Another well-known ghost haunting Chillingham Castle is Lady Mary Berkeley, whose silk dress is heard whispering along the corridors late at night, as if she were wandering and searching endlessly for her husband who ran away with her sister.
