Alnwick Playhouse is located in Alnwick, Northumberland, England. It serves as a local arts center, theater, and cinema, and is also the headquarters of the Northumberland Theatre Company.

Alnwick Playhouse was first built in 1925 as a 700-seat cinema that was sometimes used as a concert hall. The theater ultimately closed in 1979. Afterward, the Northumberland Theatre Company purchased the building and renovated the ground floor, while renting out the upper floor to the Alnwick Playhouse Trust. In December 1990, the fully refurbished Alnwick Playhouse reopened to the public and has since grown significantly. The building housing the Alnwick Playhouse consists of several sections, including a main stage and a 200-seat auditorium, with a bar and lounge area located beneath the seating. The ground floor houses a lobby, box office, shop, offices of the Northumberland Theatre Company, and a small rehearsal theater.
