Morpeth is located on the River Wansbeck and is a small town in Northumberland, the northernmost county of England. It is a quiet and charming city in Northumberland.

This peaceful town features the Grade I listed Morpeth Castle, the 13th-century Morpeth Chantry, the beautiful Morpeth Carlisle Park and William Turner Garden, traditional farmers' markets, lovely country estates, as well as a variety of concerts and dance events. The Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum, established in 1987, is one of the area's most renowned attractions, housing a large collection of historically significant bagpipes, especially the Northumbrian smallpipes collected by William Alfred Cocks, along with many printed and manuscript versions of bagpipe music. Here, visitors can learn about the history of the bagpipes and their important role in British fairs, weddings, outdoor dances, celebrations, various processions and entertainment activities, as well as from rural folk tunes to artistic life.

On the first Saturday of every month, a traditional farmers’ market is held where you can buy regionally distinctive items and experience the rustic charm of the countryside. In addition, the lush forests and country parks in the suburbs are perfect places to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the rural night scenery.
