Highlights A college dining hall located to the south of Tom Quad, capable of seating around 500 people. It has gradually gained fame for being chosen as the filming location for the Great Hall of Hogwarts in the movie "Harry Potter." Introduction The main attraction is the beautiful hall, where Princess Frideswide of the Saxons is buried. Archaeological evidence shows that this church was built by her in the 8th century. The vibrant and magnificent stained glass is fascinating, and the elaborately painted patterns on the high ceiling weave an elegant melody like waves.

Passing through the cloister, another hall displays portraits of notable figures. One of them is Lewis, who served as a mathematics lecturer at this monastery and wrote the fairy tale "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" for the Dean’s daughter.

The spire in front of the church is Tom Tower. Inside the tower is a massive bell weighing 6 tons. In the past, all Oxford colleges would close their gates based on the tolling of this bell. Students who returned late were reportedly fined. Since the college originally had 101 students, the bell also rings continuously 101 times every night at 9:05 PM.
