Broadstairs is a seaside town on the Isle of Thanet in Kent, England, located about 130 kilometres east of London. Situated between Margate and Ramsgate, it is a seaside resort on the Isle of Thanet, known as the "Jewel of the Isle of Thanet."

Colourful boats, beautiful beaches, exciting beach volleyball, a vibrant social scene, numerous elegant shops, winding streets lined with quaint houses, and the distant white cliffs all contribute to making Broadstairs a picturesque destination. The Dickens House Museum in the seaside area displays artefacts related to the great novelist Charles Dickens and recreates his life in the town during that time. Crampton Tower houses a museum featuring the engineering drawings, models, graphics, patents, medals, and historical artefacts connected to the work and life of engineer Thomas Russell Crampton. Additionally, exhibitions showcasing Broadstairs’ industrial and railway development are also worth visiting.
