Schatzalp Alpine Garden

Be amazed by the numerous Alpine plants on display. Just a 5-minute cable car ride from the center of Davos Platz will take you there. The Schatzalp Alpine Garden (Alpinum Schatzalp), located next to the restaurant-hotel, houses over 800 species and more than 10,000 plants, as well as a medicinal herb garden. Near the entrance, an exhibition area provides visitors with insights into Alpine flora and the garden itself. Clearly marked paths guide guests through every section of the garden.

June and July are the peak flowering seasons for most plants, although some don’t bloom until late September. Each plant is labeled in both German and Latin, indicating its name and whether it is medicinal or poisonous. In the Medicinal Plant Garden of Alfred Vogel, visitors can explore plants used in modern naturopathic treatments.
