The ruins of the Tuxieyete Wang Mansion is a cultural tourism attraction.

The ruins of the Tuxieyete Wang Mansion are located in the scenic Daqitao Maple Area of Daqintala, a feng shui treasure site on the Horqin Grassland. The mansion was built on the Daqintala Grassland, 20 kilometers northeast of Bayan Hushuo Town, and boasts a history of over 130 years. Its unique ecological environment and long-standing historical and cultural background have created magical natural and cultural landscapes.

The ancient and mystical Tuxieyete Wang Mansion was modeled after Beijing’s Forbidden City. Its architecture is considered a miracle of Mongolian architectural art in the Horqin region and a crystallization of the wisdom and hard work of the Mongolian people. Whenever people speak of it, they feel immense pride in the long-standing historical culture of the Horqin Grassland and the profound historical heritage of Horqin Right Wing Middle Banner. The overall scale and style of the mansion complex incorporate elements of Han-style architecture from inland China, such as sloped roofs, bracket sets (dougong), partitioned rooms, carved windows and doors, painted beams and columns, upturned eaves, and winding corridors. The entire architectural complex mainly consists of the royal palace (central courtyard), three government offices, recreational areas, and Buddhist worship spaces. It covers an area of 40,000 square meters, with a construction area of 4,800 square meters, comprising a total of 150 rooms.

In the northeast corner of the royal palace courtyard stands an artificial hill called Tongzi Mountain. The hill is planted with trees and features pavilions, as well as stone tables and benches. There is a legend about Tongzi Mountain: during the groundbreaking ceremony for its construction, 81 nine-year-old children were bathed in clear broth, dressed in embroidered garments, wearing tasseled hats and special boots, and holding tools for carrying soil. They were arranged in a square formation with nine rows and columns, and added soil to the base of the hill. Around the two artificial hills and inside and outside the walls of the mansion, there are ancient trees that are hundreds of years old, with diverse and unique shapes—some resembling camels grazing on the ground, some coiling like giant pythons, some leaping like wild horses, and others resembling ancient pagodas, all truly marvelous.

The architecture of the Tuxieyete Wang Mansion vividly reflects the historical development of the ethnic minorities on the Horqin Grassland.
