The Hanggali — Wujiafeng Leisure Tourism Resort is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Hanggali-Wujiafeng Leisure Tourism Resort includes Hanggali Lake, the Wujiafeng Nature Reserve, the Tushetu Wang Mansion Garden, and the Bayinzhurihe Mountain Scenic Area. It is a comprehensive eco-tourism destination integrating landscapes, sparse woodlands, and a royal mansion garden, and is a national 3A-level scenic area. Hanggali Lake is located 9 kilometers north of the banner government seat, Bayan Hushuo Town. It is a sandy lake and serves as a multifunctional area for power generation, irrigation, aquaculture, and ecological tourism. As a wetland climate zone characteristic of the Horqin Grassland, the lake covers an area of 37 square kilometers. With crystal-clear waters, the lake features a water recreation dock, a floating fishing village, and a Mongolian camp offering distinctive Mongolian cuisine and entertainment. Visitors to Hanggali Lake can enjoy the freshness and joy brought by the grassland’s sandy lake, savor all-fish banquets, whole lamb feasts, dairy products, and appreciate traditional Mongolian cultural performances such as long tunes, folk songs, and instrumental music played on the horsehead fiddle and sihu.

About 11 kilometers further north along National Highway 111 lies the seat of Daqintala Sumu, home to the unique Wujiafeng Sandy Land Leisure Tourism Resort of Horqin Right Middle Banner. The Wujiafeng is a rare and precious tree species. After enduring the harsh winter, its branches are covered in blossoms by early May each year, filling the entire forest with fragrance. In summer, the Wujiafeng trees are richly green and lush. By early October, under the autumn sunlight, the Wujiafeng leaves turn a variety of colors—red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple—creating a breathtakingly colorful and enchanting scene, truly making “frost-kissed leaves redder than February flowers.” Travelers, photography enthusiasts, painters, and artists from across the country flock here in an endless stream. People capture the moment with their cameras and splash the landscape with brushstrokes, leaving behind impressions of the vibrant and graceful Wujiafeng forest.

Daqintala was once the site of the Tushetu Wang Mansion, built during the reign of the 13th Tushetu Jasak Prince Babadorj and has a history of over 130 years. The mansion covers an area of 40,000 square meters, with a construction area of 4,800 square meters. The overall structure mainly consists of the royal palace (central courtyard), three government offices, the bedroom palace, and Buddhist scripture halls, along with facilities such as city walls, gates, watchtowers, a moat, and a royal garden, making it a truly majestic sight. About five kilometers southeast of Daqintala, on the eastern side of the provincial highway, lies Zhurihe Mountain, which means “Heart Mountain” in Mongolian. At the foot of the mountain is Daqintala Lake (Shuanglonggang). The surrounding area of Zhurihe Mountain features well-distributed Wujiafeng forests and pristine Horqin sparse woodland grassland landscapes that naturally form a resort manor. Every autumn, the fiery red Wujiafeng trees ignite the passionate land of Heart Mountain, as if narrating the heroic legends of the Horqin Grassland that once blazed with vigor through the mists of history.
